These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ReCVme (recvme.com), an AI-powered resume analysis and optimisation service. By accessing or using ReCVme you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. About ReCVme

ReCVme is operated by a solo founder based in India. The service is available globally and is specifically designed to serve users in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States, though users from all countries are welcome.

For all legal and contractual purposes, "ReCVme", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the individual operator of this service. Contact: support@recvme.com

2. Eligibility

You may use ReCVme only if:

  • You are at least 16 years of age. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent where required by the laws of your country.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • You are not prohibited from using the service under the laws of your jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we will delete their account and associated data promptly.

3. What ReCVme Does

ReCVme provides an AI-powered tool that:

  • Analyses your resume (CV) against a job description you provide
  • Generates an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility score
  • Identifies matching and missing keywords
  • Surfaces strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
  • Suggests project ideas and recommended courses to close skill gaps
  • Optionally rewrites and optimises your resume using AI

The service is powered by Google Gemini, an AI model operated by Google LLC. Resume content you submit is processed by Google's systems in accordance with Google's data processing terms. We do not guarantee specific hiring outcomes. Analysis results are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional career advice.

4. Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others
  • Notify us immediately at support@recvme.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
  • Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are inactive for an extended period, or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

5. Credits, Plans, and Payments

5.1 Credit System

ReCVme operates on a credit-based system for paid features. One credit equals one full optimisation cycle: uploading your resume, running an analysis against a job description, and applying the suggested changes.

5.2 Starter Packs (One-Time Purchases)

Starter packs are one-time purchases of credits. Credits do not expire unless your account is closed or terminated.

5.3 Monthly Plans

Monthly plans provide a recurring allocation of credits and access to additional features. Plans renew automatically each calendar month unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you retain access until that date.

We do not store your payment card details. All payment data is handled directly by your respective payment processor. Pricing is displayed in the currency appropriate to your region and may include applicable taxes.

5.5 Free Plan

A free plan is available with limited monthly analyses. Free plan usage is subject to fair use limits and we reserve the right to adjust free tier allowances with reasonable notice.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund policy on unused credits, subject to the following conditions:

  • The refund request must be submitted within 7 days of the purchase date
  • Credits must be unused — credits that have been consumed in analyses or optimisations are non-refundable
  • Refunds are not available on monthly plan fees once the billing cycle has begun
  • Refund requests should be sent to support@recvme.com with your order reference

We also provide a full refund in the event of a verified technical failure on our side that prevented you from using purchased credits.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ReCVme to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading resume content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service without our written permission
  • Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the service
  • Circumvent access controls, subscription limits, or credit consumption tracking
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercialise access to the service without our written consent
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these rules without notice or refund.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of your resume, job descriptions, and any other content you upload to ReCVme. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and analyse that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your career documents.

8.2 Our Platform

All software, design, trademarks, brand assets, and technology comprising the ReCVme platform are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our express written consent.

8.3 AI-Generated Output

Analysis reports, keyword suggestions, and rewritten resume content generated by ReCVme AI are provided to you for personal use. You may use AI-generated content in your own resume submissions. We make no claim to ownership of outputs generated specifically from your input data.

9. Disclaimers

ReCVme is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis results will be accurate in every case
  • We do not guarantee any employment outcome, interview invitation, or hiring success as a result of using ReCVme
  • AI-generated analysis is probabilistic and may not reflect the requirements of every specific employer or ATS system
  • We are not responsible for decisions made by employers or recruitment software based on your resume

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReCVme's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, loss of income, or loss of data.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Third-Party Services

ReCVme integrates with and depends on the following third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms:

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. For users in the United Kingdom, mandatory consumer protection rights under UK law apply and are not affected by this clause. For users in the United States, applicable federal and state consumer protection laws apply.

We encourage you to contact us at support@recvme.com before initiating any formal dispute. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints within 14 working days.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and send notice to registered users via email. Continued use of ReCVme after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
